I utterly agree with Ursula Moore’s letter last week. There are so few areas where one can enjoy peace and lovely scenery as on the prom. Why do cyclists need to ride there?
They can’t take in the environment as they rush by? Make a cycling lane along the road for them. Has anyone considered pedestrians’ rights? It’s lovely to see families and children walking out, and children free to run without danger.
Two incidents recently caused by cyclists should be a warning. Does it need a fatality before action is taken? From the Pier to Holywell should be for pedestrians only and enforced. Perhaps a CCTV camera or two would aid this.
