How I thoroughly agree with Miss Isted’s letter on June 12. It’s extremely annoying to have one’s view of the seafront blocked by beach huts.
Also the tea/coffee bars have taken over some of the seafront shelters once used by the elderly and others. It seems that money comes before sense and consideration. All the seafront seats have gone, leaving grubby brick walls to sit on. The council should be ashamed of spoiling our unique and lovely promenade. To make things worse, in fact hazardous, there are the speeders on two wheels and skateboards. Shame on you.
