LETTER: Local branch of Dignity in Dying to be set up

Public interest in Lord Falconer’s Assisted Dying Bill is gathering pace, and I would like to notify readers that I am in the process of setting up a local support branch of Dignity in Dying for East Sussex.

Our aim is to translate the support of those 80 per cent of the public who are for assisted dying for the terminally ill to our elected leaders, as well as informing people why a change in the current law would allow a pain free and discomfort free death whilst retaining dignity for those who chose.

If interested to know more, please contact me at dideastbourne@hotmail.com. Thank you.

Steve Parlanti.
