Yesterday, out for the day with the grandchildren, we had a meal in the Harvester at Sovereign Harbour then went for a nice walk around the harbour and got to the locks to watch the boat’s coming and going.
Suddenly my nine-year-old grandson decided he needed a toilet ASAP. Guess what – there is NO public convenience anywhere closer than the one on the right as you get to the shop/restaurant complex. Why?
I saw one of the lock-keepers and explained the critical situation and he very kindly sorted the problem out. From this I have two comments – thank you to the lock -keepers and why isn’t there a public convenience in that area?
