LETTER: Help Eastbourne branch of children’s charity

Children in desperate need of support have been turning to Barnardo’s for over 150 years – now you could be part of that historic legacy and part of our future too.

This week is Barnardo’s Wills Week and the children’s charity is staging a number of events in its stores to promote leaving a gift in your will as a way of support.

Barnardo’s has partnered with Quality Solicitors Barwells who will be at the Barnardo’s store in Eastbourne from 12noon to 2.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday) to explain how leaving a gift in your will can help vulnerable children, ensuring they have someone to turn to in the future.

The partnership scheme with Quality Solicitors enables people over 55 who intend to support our work to write their wills at no cost, in the hope that they remember Barnardo’s alongside family and friends. The QS legal team will be on hand to offer free and impartial advice to Barnardo’s supporters wishing to write their will, answer generic law-related questions about legacies and take appointments.
