LETTER: Furious over hit and run

After reading Miss Cardale’s letter [Herald, November 20], our car has also been damaged. It was parked outside our house on the morning of November 12 when some kind person driving a white van damaged the rear of the car and drove off without at least leaving details so we could make an insurance claim. The damage is approximately £300-£500. Just wanted to say a big thank you – wait until it happens to you.
