LETTER: Do they ever take notice?

What is wrong with our politicians? Do they never take notice of the people they are supposed to represent? They totally ignore a petition of 20,000 people, who resent having to take the slow tortuous roads to Hastings hospital when there is a perfectly good hospital in Eastbourne serving over 100,000 people, who live there. Again, the wishes of the people of Polegate have been ignored and an unwanted wind farm is to be built nearby. Wind farms are utterly useless. They do not work when the wind is strong. They do note work when there is no wind. They do not work when it is too cold. They are hideous, noisy and costly! Over the coming weeks, politicians will be asking for our support. Any candidate who is against wind farms deserves our votes.
