I would like to tell you about my stay in the Eastbourne DGH. I went in to have a knee replacement operation in January. My treatment has been brilliant, from the doctors, senior nurses, staff nurses, HCAs and housekeepers, all of them helped to make my stay a very good experience.
I had to have blood transfusions and I had problems with my medications but the staff sorted everything out, nothing was too much trouble. They battled on until I was well enough to come home. I visit the DGH approximately once every six weeks because I have a blood disorder and again nothing is too much trouble.
I have had contact with lots of different staff in pharmacy, physio, orthopaedics, haematology and the wards and I cannot fault the treatment I have received and still receive from them all. I can’t thank them enough.
