I don’t know what is planned for the former Co-op premises opposite T.J. Hughes, but after returning to Eastbourne, after three years in Shropshire, I was greatly relieved to note workmen replacing the windows in said premises. Because previously, for almost a decade, they had been a local eyesore with monstrous graffiti of eco-conditioning plastered all around! Now, at last, I can walk past, without having to avert my eyes in annoyance and disgust.
