I do hope the charge being considered for admission to Eastbourne Pier is not as high as £2. It would prevent many older visitors and families from going on the pier. Maybe £1 would be accepted gladly. People often spend money in the facilities, so I’m sure Sheikh Abid Gulzar would recoup quite a revenue. Never mind free drinks, some only want to sit or walk. This would only defeat the need for high charges. Please consider carefully before making a final decision.
