Let us have the foreign students

I have noticed over the last few days that we have a large group of students from either China or probably Japan.

I would like to say how much I am impressed with their behaviour. I concede that they take up a lot of room on their walkabouts round the town but their teachers try and make sure they do not interfere with the townspeople.

They are also, to a child, the healthiest looking children I have seen for a long time, being in the main slim and active.

Contrast that with my treatment on the recent Bank Holiday when a group of five yobbos crossed the road in front of my car when I had a green light, forcing me to do an emergency stop.

When I remonstrated with them I got a lot of abuse and fingers stuck up in the air at me, and one took the opportunity to kick the side of my car and cause me untold expense to repair it.

I would have liked them to read this and consider the damage they have done, not only to my car but to my attitude to teenagers, but I doubt they have either the brains or inclination to do that.

What I would like in my wildest dreams, would be to ship them all to whatever country the students come from and let us have the students here.

Unfair to the students’ country but eminently suitable for us.
