Flock of seagulls versus the heron

WE live reasonably close to Hampden Park lake and from time to time the “local” heron pays us a visit sitting on nearby chimneys and surveying the contents of the fishpond below.

On a recent visit, my wife watched as a quickly assembled band of seagulls dive-bombed the heron and chased it away – coincidentally to the background of the Dambusters March on the radio! Do other readers have the benefit of such protection with musical accompaniment?
