Disappointed by persecution

I AM disappointed in the latest persecution of Mr Gulzar with his expression of patriotism in the installation of the flagpoles bearing the Union flag on Pevensey marshes.

Over the years this man has created jobs, invested heavily in his hotels improving the seafront vista, given to charity and is trying to provide and use locally sourced produce and yet continues to be the subject or persecution by the powers that be.

Give the man a break and work with him to focus on the real issues that matter as a positive contributing member to our society.

Perhaps a new installation of gallows on the marsh to string up the anti-patriotic brigade for treason would be a welcome sight?
