Part-time workers and other regular travellers on Thameslink and Great Northern affected by disruption following the introduction of the May 2018 timetable can claim additional compensation.
Thameslink and Great Northern season ticket holders have been able to claim additional compensation since the scheme opened, in August. These passengers have until 30 November to complete their claims.
Now, as previously advertised, Thameslink and Great Northern passengers without season tickets can qualify for up to four weeks’ worth of fares if they made a minimum of three days’ return travel in any one week between 20 May and 28 July to or from the most affected stations.
Those who do not have their tickets from the qualifying period can provide other proof of travel. Further information is available on the website railcompensation.thameslinkrailway.com, including frequently asked questions and a quick and easy-to-use eligibility checker.
It’s important that regular travellers who did not have season tickets are compensated for what happened earlier this year and I would urge these passengers to visit our website.
This compensation is in addition to regular Delay Repay and enhanced compensation so any customer who claimed either of these in May or July can still receive additional compensation.
