I am 90 years old with terminal cancer and had a fall backwards hitting my head on the road last Wednesday morning.
I wish to thank that group of such kind people who gave me so much support and comfort during the one-and-a-half hour wait for an ambulance to arrive at Hyde Gardens.
A lady was with me in seconds, kindly covering me with her coat and stating that she would stay with me until I was collected.
Another young lady from a local solicitors came and called for an ambulance and for my sister-in-law.
Others arrived placing their coats over me to keep me warm.
To all of you a big thank you. You have all demonstrated such kindness from all age groups still exists in our society despite all the bad news we seem to receive in the media.
