We have a Prime Minister whose military experience seems to stem from his time in the Eton College Officer Training Corps.
He constantly sings the praises of our gallant armed forces, many of whom have been killed and maimed whilst serving in our wars.
David Cameron also seems to be happy to tell us that the Government wants to hear the views of us all, this was the reason for the delay in the NHS reforms which have been revised following the doubts of medical staff at all levels.
Now we have very senior military staff, those at the top of their profession, expressing some doubts about being able to continue the war in Libya for a longer period than originally thought.
What does David Cameron think of their views?
He says, “You do the fighting, I’ll do the talking”.
