Woman seriously injured in Eastbourne motorcycle crash

A woman has been seriously injured after a crash involving a 4x4 and a motorcycle in Eastbourne last night (Wednesday, June 8)

Sussex Police say the crash, which involved a Nissan Juke 4x4 and a black Suzuki motorcycle, took place on the A259 Pevensey Bay Road close to the Crumbles roundabout at around 10.15pm.

A woman, who was the pillion passenger on the bike, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious injuries.

The rider, a man, was taken to Conquest Hospital in Hastings with minor injuries.

Police ask that anyone who witnessed the crash, or who saw either of the vehicles in the moments leading up to it, email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1846 of 08/06.
