SONBEAMS: Takes place every Wednesday mornings in St Mary's the Virgin Parish Church, Church Street from 1.30pm to 3pm. This is for babies, pre-school children, parents, grandparents and carers. Worship songs, stories and prayers, refreshments. This takes place every week.

MESSEY CHURCH: Takes place tomorrow, Saturday, at 3pm to 5.30pm at St Mary’s the Virgin Church, Church Street.

POLEGATE WINDMILL: The windmill celebrates its bi-centenary on Saturday September 16. The committee is planning an event to mark this occasion and would very much like to hear from anyone who would like to take on the role of secretary working with the committee to make the arrangements for this event and the ongoing running of the windmill. JEVINGTON AND FILCHITING WI: The next meeting is on Thursday and will be a Teddy Bears picnic, tea and members getting to know you at Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue from 2pm.

WILLINGDON WI: Meet on Thursday at the Memorial Hall, Church Street, when our speaker is Jill Parker on the JPK project. All welcome from 2.15pm.

JUMBLE SALE: On Saturday March 11, at St Wilfrids Church Hall, Broad Road from10am to noon. Admission 20p. Refreshments including home made cakes. Proceeds in support of the church and the Spinnaker Trust, working in local schools.
