SONBEAMS: Takes place every Wednesday mornings in St Mary's the Virgin Parish Church, Church Street, at 1.30pm to 3pm. This is for babies, pre-school children, parents, grandparents and carers. Worship songs, stories and prayers, refreshments. This takes place every week.

JUMBLE SALE: Tomorrow, Saturday, at St Wilfrids Church Hall, opposite Willingdon Community School, from10am to noon. Admission 20p. Refreshments including home made cakes, proceeds in support of the church and the Spinnaker Trust. Working in local schools.

LIFESTYLE: There is a meeting on Wednesday at the Memorial Hall, Church Street when our speaker is Mr G Moore, Audio Visual Show. Meeting starts at 2.15pm with a charge of 50p including tea and biscuits.

PARISH COUNCIL: Willingdon and Jevington Parish Council. On Saturday March 18 we will be holding a Councillor Surgery at the new Parish Office at the Triangle. Every month two of the councillors will be in the office for residents to come along and ask questions, give opinions good and bad or just meet your local councilors. It would be great to see you all. (Nicola Williamson).

SOROPTIMISTS: Eastbourne and District Soroptimists Club meet on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 7.45pm. Meetings are held at Chalk Farm, Coopers Hill. Please telephone 769004 or visit www.sigbi.org.uk for more info.

COFFEE MORNING: A charity coffee morning is held at held at the British Queen on the second Thursday of the month from 10am until noon. Book stall and raffle. All welcome.
