TRINITY Church in Willingdon will be holding a summer fair on June 11 (10am-4pm).
The church’s aim is to welcome members of the local community and demonstrate its commitment to developing links with and activities for all. Proceeds will go to church funds.
The morning starts with the official opening ceremony to be conducted by John Pritchett, chairman of the Parish Council, and will be followed by a display from the Kingfisher Scout Band.
Throughout the day there will be music, competitions, stalls, various refreshments including ploughman’s lunches and an exhibition and demonstration of lace making.
The day will include contributions from the Royal British Legion, Lace makers, WI, St John Ambulance, Downland Singers and the different sections of the Guide and Scout movements.
