There may be sunshine in some parts of the county at the moment, but if you are planning to vote on the Referendum it's worth doing it this morning if you want to stay dry.

However, the forecast suggests that rain is more likely after lunch.

The Met office says: “Warm and humid air has spread into roughly the south-eastern quarter of the UK, bringing with it a risk of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

“Where thunderstorms occur torrential rain and frequent lightning are expected - 30mm or more of rain could fall in an hour and locally in excess of 50mm is possible in two or three hours.”

The weekend is due to see a mix of sunshine and rain with Sunday the better of the two days.
