SUSSEX WEATHER: Temperatures set to hit 18degC by end of the week

Sussex is set for a few days of sunshine and warm temperatures before the weekend weather reverts to normal for the time of year.

Friday could see the temperature soar to 17/18degC, although there may be some cloud around.

Today (Wednesday) will remain a bright and often sunny day and the forecast for Thursday is for plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching 15/16degC.

However, Saturday is expected to see a dramatic change with the wind picking up, some rain showers and the thermometer dropping five or six degrees.

Sunday should see some sunny intervals but a chilly wind will make it feel like 8/9degC.
