Bank Holiday Monday is forecast to start off brighter but more showers will spread during the day.

The temperature could rise to a maximum of 14degC and late in the day heavier rain is set to sweep in.

Almost inevitably, with many back at work on Tuesday, there’s likely to be more sunshine during most of the day.
