A weather warning is in place for strong gusting winds across Sussex from tomorrow afternoon (Monday June 1) and through Tuesday.
The yellow warning has been issued by the Met Office.
Following today’s (Sunday) showers and below average temperatures Monday may feel even colder with the thermometer struggling to get to 14degC.
The wind is due to pick up during the afternoon with 30mph gusts.
After a chilly night heavy rain is forecast for Tuesday morning coupled with even stronger gusts up to 40mph.
However, from Wednesday temperatures are set to rise to around 18degC by the end of the week with plenty of sunny spells.
The longer range forecast is for sunny spells but the possibility of thundery showers.
