Customers are being asked for their views on South East Water’s 25-year strategy for keeping taps flowing with high quality drinking water, while keeping the bills that help support the investment.
The company has published Clear Water, which sets out how it will need to meet the challenges of rising demand for water from more people in more homes, while also ensuring customers’ main priorities are at the heart of any future plans.
It is now asking customers and stakeholders for their views on the document, which sets out how it intends to meet customers’ priorities from 2015 to 2040, and new ways of measuring how successful it is in achieving them.
David Hinton at South East Water said, “Our long term strategy is built around customers’ preferences and expectations, while addressing the many challenges we face – not least operating in a water-stressed region, while meeting the increased demand for water from the customers of today, as well as the customers of tomorrow.
The company will also make a £5 donation to the WaterAid charity for every response made, up to a maximum donation of £1,000.
