VIDEO: The Tigers are coming to Eastbourne

A batallion of Army Reservists are set to take over the former Territorial Army Centre in Seaside next month.

The 3rd Battalion The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment, known as The Tigers, are moving back to Eastbourne after 20 years away from the town and will take over the Seaside venue which is currently being vacated by 58 Signal Squadron, which was axed in recent Ministry of Defence cutbacks.

The Tigers are the Army Reserve Infantry Battalion for the south east of England and is operationally focused, often having reserve officers and soldiers deployed supporting the Regular Army.
