A flipping great time was had by all as Eastbourne hosted its sixth annual Pancake Race in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
Eighty people took to Terminus Road on a sunny Shrove Tuesday afternoon (February 17) for a race filled with tossing, tripping and tons of laughter.
Twenty teams from businesses across the town took to the starting line-up to battle it out for the coveted Pancake Race trophy, with The Langham Hotel crowned champions after 45 minutes of frying-pan fun.
Crowds gathered round to watch as Eastbourne Academy finished in the runner-up spot for the second consecutive year, with Tesco Extra ending in third.
