UPDATE: Missing teen found dead on Hastings beach

The 18-year-old was found on on Rock-a-Nore beach in Hastings at around 6.30pm on Thursday (March 31) by a member of the public.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said, “He has now been formally identified as Eastbourne man Carl Kelly, who had been reported missing a few days earlier.

“Carl, from St Leonards Road, was last seen leaving a party in Avondale Road, Eastbourne, at around 6am on Saturday, March 26.

“Police are treating the death as unexplained and the case has now been handed to the coroner’s officer.”
