TRAVEL NEWS: Drivers warned of icy conditions after van overturns on A27

A number of warnings have been put in place on the roads in East Sussex this morning (Friday, January 15) due to icy conditions.

There are hazardous conditions on the A27 at Polegate, by the Cophall Roundabout. Motorists are being advised to approach with care.

Similar warnings are also in place further along the A27, at the Beddingham Roundabout, where a van has overturned in icy conditions. The roundabout is currently blocked and queues are building.

Motorists are being advised to also drive carefully on the A259 South Coast Road in Peacehaven between The Highway junction and the Church Hill junction, due to ice.
