An eye witness this morning (Monday, April 12) said the delays were by Langney Rise’s junction with Priory Road, near where the lights are.
An East Sussex Highways spokesman said, “There are currently temporary three-way traffic lights in operation in Langney Rise to enable ASAP Construction to install new sewer connections.

Hide Ad“While this is not a county council scheme, we are liaising with the company carrying out the work to ensure disruption to road users in the area is kept to a minimum.”
The temporary traffic lights are set to be in place until Friday, April 16.
