Driver arrested following collision

A driver has been arrested following a collision on a busy A-road this morning.

Sussex Roads Police tweeted at around 6am this morning to say that the A26 was closed between the A27 Beddingham roundabout and Newhaven due to a single vehicle collision.

The road was reopened shortly afterwards, but police tweeted to say that the driver had been arrested after failing a roadside breathalyser test.
