Teenager released in Hailsham murder investigation

A TEENAGE boy from Eastbourne, who was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of Hailsham dad Darren Croxton earlier this year, has been released from the police investigation.

The 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder as well as attempting to pervert the course of justice following the death of Mr Croxton from knife wounds last January.

Both the teenager and a 48-year-old man from Croydon, who was facing similar charges, were due to answer bail today (Thursday). However, both suspects have now been stood down from bail and Sussex Police have said that no further action will be taken against either of them.
