Teenager in court over theft from funeral director

A unemployed man will appear in court this morning charged with the theft of a Help for Heroes charity box from a funeral parlour owned by a injured servicemen.

Curtis Willard, 19, who has not given an address, will appear before magistrates in Eastbourne this morning (July 4) charged with the theft of the tin from Payne and Sons funeral directors on Friday (June 30).

He was arrested by Eastbourne police officers on Tuesday evening following information received after a local media coverage.
