Sea View Guest House on Royal Parade, Eastbourne, has just been sold by business transfer agents, Adams & Co and the new owners Adam Hart and Kerry Brooks-Walsh will be continuing the traditional bed and breakfast business.

Adam originally comes from Sussex and was an assistant pro at Cooden Beach Golf course and Kerry has been working in executive management in London, but both have given up their London jobs and home for a completely different venture.

They will close for refurbishment from December 17 to January 2 but still take calls and bookings via seaviewguesthouse.com (email: seaviewguesthouse@hotmail.com)

“We are not planning any major changes because it is a lovely guest house and already a successful business. We are a bit younger than some owners so are full of energy and our aim is to make it the best budget guest house in town ,” Adam said.

The substantial semi-detached property over four floors includes a ground floor fully refurbished private owners’ home with spacious lounge/dining room, study area and patio doors leading into private courtyard garden and garage, plus a double bedroom with en-suite.

There are 10 letting rooms, all tastefully decorated and furnished, including seven family rooms, five en-suite, and three singles with shared bathroom and separate WC. Three bedrooms have private balconies.
