St Wilfrid’s Hospice will be hosting its first storytelling mini-festival, Islands in a Story Sea, on June 18.
Two local storytellers, Ed Boxall and Hilary Watkins, will be providing interactive tales, fun and music for all ages throughout the day.
There will also be arts activities hosted by Room 13 from West Rise school and drama workshops and games from Robinson academy from 1.30pm.
Robinson academy will be organising a special performance in the cafe at 3.30pm.
There will be ice cream, candy floss and other refreshments on site.
To find out more about the events call 01323 434275 and speak to Martin for more information.
All the activities take place at the hospice, near the big Sainsbury’s at Hampden Park, on Broadwater Way, from 10am.
