The Court House and Jail in Pevenesey is holding an exhibition dealing with the 1066 invasion and how the Normans “made a mint in Pevensey”.

Looking a little further ahead: the Wealden Food and Wine Festival will take place in Pevensey Castle on Saturday and Sunday July 16 and 17 from m11 am to 7.30 pm. And of course, there is the beach, the open countryside and other places of interest4 just a short drive away.
