Grant application forms are still available for non-profit organisations, registered charities or other agencies in Hailsham intending to request funding for new or improved facilities, activities or projects from Hailsham Town Council’s 2015 grants budget.
Cllr Chriss Triandafyllou, chairman of the town council’s Finance, Budget and Resources Committee, said: “Hailsham Town Council is pleased to accept applications for grant funding from local groups and organisations and offer small-scale support to help them with their projects, events and other valuable work in the community. For many years, Hailsham Town Council has awarded grants to fund programmes that relate to its grant criteria and considers each application fairly and openly.”
All grant applications will be considered by the Finance, Budget and Resources Committee in early 2015 and notification of the decision on your application will be released in May or June 2015. Application forms and grant award criteria are available to download from the town council website at www.hailsham-tc.gov.uk. You can also write to the Town Clerk, at Hailsham Town Council, Inglenook, Market Street, Hailsham, BN27 2AE. The deadline for grant aid applications (2015/2016) will be the end of December 2014.
The town council said those applying should make sure the activities of the organisation or association should be readily available to the community, the range of activities undertaken and the programme of the organisation should be available for reference and the current financial situation should be substantiated by either audited accounts or a business plan for a new group or organisation.
