THE FIRST Willingdon Community Market saw stall-holders pack into a church hall to tout their wares.
Ten stalls, offering everything from handmade jewellery to pies, set up shop in Trinity Church Hall in Coppice Avenue, Willingdon, last Wednesday (May 4).
A farmer, plant supplier, old-fashioned sweets seller and a card maker also joined the inaugural event. A handbag seller joined the legion of stall-holders at this week’s market. The market will run every Wednesday between 10am and 1pm.
