Michaela Pugh, 37, a Slovakian national who has been living in Guildford for several years, has not been seen by family or friends since the afternoon of February 12.

A black Lexus belonging to Michaela was found near Beachy Head on February 14 and Surrey police officers are working with Sussex Police colleagues to locate Michaela as a matter of urgency to ensure she is safe and well.

Michaela’s sister Denisa, who has flown over to the UK from Slovakia, has issued the following message to Michaela: ‘Miška! Prosím, ozvi sa niekomu. Všetci sa bojíme o Teba. Som tu v UK. Čakám Ťa a prišla som za Tebou. Chýbaš mi. Tvoja sestra.’

The English translation of this message reads: ‘Miška! Please, can you let someone know where you are. We are worried about you. I am in the UK. I came for you and I am waiting for you. I miss you very much. Your sister.’

Michaela is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, slim, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to have been wearing a Parka style coat and black leggings.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who has seen a woman matching Michaela’s description or who may have seen a woman using the phone box at the National Trust site in Birling Gap over the weekend of February 13 and 14.
