Eastbourne’s Festival of Arts and Culture 2015 is now open for registrations from artists and performers who would like to play a part in the popular three-week event.
Previous festivals have taken place in the spring, but the organisers believe that a move to the summer will offer greater scope, and appeal to holiday visitors and well as locals. So the Festival will run from July 4 – 26 and as in past years will embrace visual arts, drama, comedy and music of every genre. Individual artists or groups can register events until March 15, but there is a discount on the registration fee for submissions made by January 31.
The Festival is run by a community interest company led by musician Victor Potter who said, “The Festival is a wonderful opportunity for artists of every kind to showcase their talents both to the local community and visitors. It enables all strands of the arts to be drawn together and displayed alongside the work of others.
“We welcome new ideas for events, which can be registered at www.eastbourne festival.co.uk”
