Seventy-three-year-old Eastbourne dog walker attacked


Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a 73-year-old man who was walking his dogs along Seven Sisters Road.

The victim was pushed to the ground by a man, who drove away in a red car. The pensioner was shaken but not hurt.

The suspect drove away in a red car. The attack took place at about 6.20am on June 26.

A 31-year-old man, from Eastbourne, was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was questioned and bailed until Sunday July 13.
