Four councillors have been elected to Seaford Town Council after the rescheduled by-election for the town’s East ward.
The vote was postponed back in May due to the death of Conservative candidate John Boots.
The rescheduled by-election was held on Thursday, June 25, with the results published shortly afterwards.
Alan Latham (UKIP) received the most votes with 331 and will now represent Seaford’s East ward alongside Lesley Worcester (Conservative), Phil Boorman (Independent) and Barry Burfield (Conservative), who received 320, 313, 307 votes respectively.
The re-run for the Central ward by-election will take place on July 23 after one elected councillor didn’t take up their seat on the council.
