Seaford man seriously injured in Berwick crash

A 23-year-old motorcyclist from Seaford suffered serious injuries after a collision in Berwick on Sunday (March 19).

Emergency services were called to the scene on Station Road near Arlington Reservoir at around 12.15pm after a collison involving a motorbike and a Land Rover.

Police say the motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man from Seaford who was riding a black Suzuki GSX750, suffered ‘multiple injuries’ and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he has been detained for treatment.

A 58-year-old man from Berwick driving a green Land Rover Defender 90, received a minor head injury but did not require hospital treatment.

The road was closed for several hours between the A27 at Berwick and Upper Dicker while the emergency services attended the scene.
