A MAN in his seventies has died after falling from a ladder.
The incident unfolded in Seaford this morning at the back of flats in Steyne Road.
Sussex Air Ambulance received a call at 9.14am and a helicopter was sent to the scene.
Police and ambulance crews were also in attendance and despite resuscitation attempts he died at the scene.
Louise Squire, who lives in nearby flats, was having a cigarette out of her window when the man fell.
She said, “I didn’t see where he fell from, I saw it as he landed.
“I saw two ambulances there and about 20 minutes later a helicopter.
“They were trying to revive him for quite a long time.
“It was really upsetting.”
