COMMUNITY CINEMA: Seaford Community Cinema are showing 45 Years cert 15 tonight, Friday, 7.30pm at The Barn Theatre, Saxon Lane. Advance tickets can be obtained from the Tourist Information Centre, 37 Church Street.

STAGE PERFORMANCE: The Love Heart Community Cafe stage performance at St Lukes Centre, Walmer Road tomorrow, Saturday, at 6pm. Performance with characters loosely drawn from Peter Pan. Free entrance, donations greatly received for costs and any excess will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

SEAFORD TOWN COUNCIL: The Finance and General Purpose Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, 7pm at 37 Church Street.

HARD OF HEARING CLUB: Will be meeting on Friday March 4, 2.15pm at St James, Blatchington Road. The speaker this month is Joanna Wilkins from the Sussex Archaeological Society and her subject The Lost Village of Tidemills, a popular subject. The society has been excavating at the local village site to try and unravel its history so the club members are looking forward to an interesting afternoon. As always refreshments will be served.

FLOWER CLUB: Saturday March 5, 10am to noon. In celebration of Mother’s Day this year the Seaford Evening Flower Club extend a warm welcome to everyone at their Coffee Morning and Sale of Mother’s Day Posies made with fresh flowers at Clinton Hall, Clinton Place.

FAIRTRADE SERVICE: The service this year is being held at St Andrew’s Church, Bishopstone Village on Sunday March 6, 4pm. During the Evening Song Service there will be a short talk on the work of Fairtrade. Following the service refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to view the Traidcraft Stall.

SEAFORD FOOD SWAP: The group had another successful event at the end of January, with foods and drinks being swapped and new this time raspberry vodka, spiced sunflower seeds, curried chicken parcels plus old favourites of homemade cider, cakes, biscuits and sour dough pizza. There will be another food swap in the summer so get growing, pickling and baking. For more information please call Adele and Di on 01323 492955 and 897897.
