LUNCHTIME CONCERT: To be given by Soprano Mehreen Shah at St Leonard's Church, Church Street tomorrow, Saturday, at 1pm. The concert lasts approximately an hour and has free admission with a retiring collection. Mehreen has been singing for 15 years and in that time has participated in numerous concerts and venues. Mehreen graduated from Bath Spa University in 2011 gaining the highest mark in her year for her final recital.

GUIDED TOUR: Of Seaford led by Kevin Gordon, our local historian, tomorrow, Saturday, at 10.30am, starting at Seaford Tourist Information Centre where you can also get tickets for £5. In the afternoon you can join Kevin who will be leading a guided walk in Alfriston at 2pm meeting at The Market Cross. SEAHAVEN SCOUTS: The Scouts are holding a boot sale at The Martello Fields on Sunday starting at 8.30am to 1pm. Sellers come along at 7.30am (sorry no food sellers). Tel. 08444 146086.

SEAFORD HALF MARATHON: On Sunday starting at 9am Marine Parade (seafront) a circular route around Seaford and the Downs come and cheer the runners on.

TIDEMILLS: A guided tour of this lost village given by local historian Kevin Gordon on Sunday starting at 10.30am, The Buckle Car Park. Tickets £5 from Seaford Tourist Information Centre, 37 Church Street. You can also join Kevin for a guided tour of Lewes starting at Lewes Railway Station at 2pm, tickets £5 from Lewes Tourist Information Centre, 187 High Street, Lewes.
