Eastbourne welcomes the International Staff Songsters for a concert on Saturday, March 31, 7pm, at The Salvation Army in Langney Road.
The group was formed in 1980 and has established choral boundaries of excellence for the Salvation Army worldwide.
More than 30 recordings, radio and television appearances and many miles of travel both in the UK and abroad are indicative of vigorous and continuous ministry.
Under their successive leaders - Capt Len Ballantine, Major Peter Ayling and Andrew Blyth - their musical horizons have evolved.
Current leader Dorothy Nancekievill, who was appointed in October 2013, has brought the group to her own personality and passion for sharing Christian music.
The sheer range of music offered by the group has become their hallmark. Concerts include anything from classics to contemporary. Tickets for the concert at the Eastbourne Citadel are £8 and can be booked on 01323 640382 or 01323 430619.
