Reversing driver destroys supermarket wall in Eastbourne

A driver destroyed a wall at an Eastbourne supermarket after accidently reversing into it yesterday (January 28).

The male driver in a Land Rover had turned onto Victoria Drive after leaving the car park of the Old Town Sainsbury’s store at around 1.25pm.

He then accidently reversed through the wall, becoming briefly stuck on top of it.

A large section of the wall was knocked over in the incident.
