Police seeking 31-year-old Eastbourne man in connection with armed robbery

Police want to speak to a man in connection with an armed robbery at a betting shop in Eastbourne on Tuesday evening (April 5).

A man walked in to Ladbrokes in Carlisle Road at around 7.40pm with what is believed to be a firearm and demanded money from the till.

The suspect ran off with more than £1,000 cash.

Detective Inspector Neil Ralph said, “We are keen to trace 31-year-old Ryan Skinner who is from the town.

“Ryan is described as white, around 6’ and of slim build with short brown hair and a patchy beard.

“I would advise members of the public not to approach him directly, but if you do know where he is then call 999.”
