Police release CCTV of Eastbourne armed robbery suspects

Police have released CCTV images of two men wanted in connection with a knife-point armed robbery in Eastbourne.

Two robbers burst into Ladbrokes in Langney Shopping Centre at about 9.45pm on Tuesday (February 9).

One of the suspects, who had a knife, threatened a member of staff and demanded money from the safe.

A large quantity of cash was handed over and the two men left.

The first suspect, carrying the knife, is described as a white man of slim build, about 5’ 11”, wearing a grey hoody covering his head, a dark coloured scarf around his face and gloves. He spoke with a fake London accent.

The second suspect is described as slim, about 6’ 2”, wearing a black hoody or jacket and dark coloured trousers.

Both suspects, who disguised their identities throughout the incident, are believed to be in their 20s.
